Job Overview:

Beam is seeking a VP of Enterprise/Strategic Partnerships who is passionate about building a more equitable social safety net and enhancing financial stability and social mobility for communities that need it most. The VP will be responsible for building relationships with strategic channel partners and bringing in enterprise, state-level partners. This role will work closely with Sales, Partner Success, and the broader Executive Team to inform broader strategies around enterprise operations, partnership approaches, strategic relationships, and cross functional success.



What You Will Do:

  • Exhibit leadership around Beam’s go-to-market and market expansion opportunities
  • Serve as thought leader around the social safety net, economic development,, the relevant policy environment, and competitor products and activities
  • Coordinate with relevant revenue, product, and executive stakeholders to shape top-of-funnel targets and strategies, especially for enterprise partnerships, with consideration of interplay between executive agencies and legislative councils
  • Build and bring in new relationships and partnerships with key strategic partners - both channel partners and net new enterprise/state government partners
  • Lead growth efforts related to the early operationalization of R&D initiatives, including triangulating philanthropy to seed pilot use cases



What You Should Have:

  • Experience in working with municipal, county, and/or state government and an understanding of government sales/procurement cycles, especially for SaaS technologies
  • Demonstrated experience setting and executing robust partnership and revenue targets, ideally in a government relations, policy, or public sector sales role
  • A solutions-oriented mindset with an entrepreneurial approach and a bias towards action
  • An understanding of and passion for our product and the problems it works to solve
  • A mission-driven philosophy (vs mercenary) and a champion of Beam’s mission, vision, and values



Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for this position has been benchmarked in relation to the scope of the role, market rate, company stage, and internal equity. The base salary for this role will be between $150,000 - $185,000. Where a candidate falls within the band is determined by skillset, experience level, and geographic location. Furthermore, this role will come with a total compensation package that includes equity shares and competitive benefits. Some of our benefits include:
